ABOUT US

Big musical contrasts in a small scale ensemble.

JSB-Ensemble Oslo was founded in 2019 by the baritone Halvor F. Melien and conductor Julia Selina Blank. It consists of leading ensemble singers and baroque instrumentalists from the Norwegian music scene. The group aims to perform baroque music especially by Johann Sebastian Bach and combine it with pieces from other époques fitting for a one-to-a-part ensemble.
